A morning hike to stunning city views, in a dog friendly park with our rescue dogs!
We will enjoy a nice walk up hiking trails to the top of Runyon Canyon. Fantastic city views, and the perfect view of the Hollywood Sign! Wear good shoes for hiking! It's not particularly hard, but it is a hiking trail.

As you climb your way up the hill with your new pals in tow, you’ll be exercising and socializing the dogs, and letting locals know they’re up for adoption. You’ll also become a puppy paparazzi and take their photos in front of panoramic backdrops—you can even pose with them with the famous Hollywood sign behind you. Your pictures will then be used to generate interest in the rescue organization, attract potential adopters, and bring in donations that will help further care for and foster the dogs until they find their forever homes.

Runyon Canyon is dog friendly, and dog's are allowed off-leash in most of the park. Dogs that have become "off-leash safe" may be allowed off the leash to run around and have even more fun!!
All proceeds are for charity! Free Animal Doctor is a 501c3 Animal Welfare Non-Profit. You payment helps pay for the very dogs you will be walking!
Help socialize these rescue dogs! Your interaction with them is key to teaching them they can trust people. In this outdoor setting we find dogs to be receptive to interaction and play, and this helps them learn to be social, happy dogs again!
Our goal is "Safe AND Fun". You will have the opportunity to hang out with the dogs at safe distance from others, without a mask.
COVID Safety: A mask is required. You must wear the mask when we are standing together, within 6 feet, such as at the beginning of the walk and at rest points. When walking, if you are able to maintain 6+ feet of distance you can remove your mask. We have hand sanitizer, though you should also bring your own.
- Make it a morning "workout", with a healthy hike up Runyon Canyon while helping dogs, then go get a fresh juice and start your day!
- Make it a fun date, and go bop around Hollywood (walking distance from the park) afterward!
- Late riser? Join us on Sunday when we start at 10am, and then go get a fab late-breakfast at The Griddle on Sunset!
